Poori chole. In Tamil Nadu, Chola poori is a very popular lunch/dinner dish in restaurants. Usually, it is served with channa masala. Chole stands for a spicy curry made with white chickpeas/ channa and bhature is a fried Indian flatbread.

Poori chole Chole Puri Recipe is the popular North Indian Breakfast Dish, which can be served as a fulfilled meal in lunch or dinner. Some people enjoy it as a Snack Dish as well. Chole / Chickpea or Garbanzo beans is a versatile legume, and it's seeds are high in protein. You can have Poori chole using 16 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Poori chole

  1. You need 200 gm of boiled chana.
  2. Prepare 2 cup of wheat flour.
  3. You need 2 of green chilli finely chopped.
  4. Prepare 2 of onion puree.
  5. It's 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
  6. You need 1 of tomato finely chopped.
  7. You need as needed of Oil.
  8. You need to taste of Salt.
  9. You need 1 tbsp of cumin seeds.
  10. It's 1 pinch of soda.
  11. You need 1 tbsp of coriander powder.
  12. It's 1 tbsp of garam masala.
  13. You need 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.
  14. It's 1 tbsp of turmeric powder.
  15. You need 1 spoon of chana masala.
  16. You need 1 of bay leaf.

I like the combo of Chole and Puri. Here Chole or Chana are simply made in the tasty gravy of onion and tomatoes and then served with. It comes out very well with a puffy looking, soft texture. We all know the best, popular side dish for chola poori is chana masala or chole masala.

Poori chole instructions

  1. Take a pan heat oil put cumin seeds,bay leaf crackle it..
  2. Now add onion paste,green chilli, ginger garlic paste 2 min roast after that add tomato.cook 5-7 min add all spices and mix well and again cook 4-5 minutes.
  3. Now add chana mix it deeply and add the required water and cook for few minutes..
  4. Chana is ready..
  5. Take a kadhai add oil..
  6. Heat a oil take dough small ball make little Puri..
  7. Puri deep fry in a oil..
  8. Now Puri chole ready to serve..

So I prepared Punjabi chole following this recipe from my Punjabi thali post and served with chola poori. We loved it to the core. Friends, do try this easy chola poori recipe.
