- You need 1 of Big onion finely chopped.
- It's 1 of tomato finely chopped.
- It's 1 of Capsicum finely chopped.
- Prepare 1 tbspn of Ginger garlic paste or finely chopped.
- Prepare 1 of green chilli finely chopped.
- It's 1/4 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder (Kashmiri chilli powder).
- You need 1 tsp of pav bhaji masala.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- It's As needed of Butter.
- It's 1 tbspn of oil.
- Prepare As needed of Coriander leaves for garnish.
- It's of Lemon a few drops(optional).
- You need of Water little.
- You need 1 packet of Pav.
- Prepare 1-2 tsp of Butter for Pav.
Masala Pav instructions
- Take a non stick pan or tawa put oil and butter and when hot add in the chopped onion and saute for a minute..
- Add in the chopped green chilli,ginger and garlic paste and saute for a few minutes..
- Add in the dry masala powders, salt and mix well. Add chopped tomatoes and capsicum and cook for 2 minutes..
- Sprinkle little water and stir well. When done turn off the gas and garnish with coriander leaves. Add a few drops of lemon if u like..
- Now heat a tawa and put the pav pieces after slitting into halves, but not fully. Apply butter and heat from both sides..
- Put some cooked masala inside the pav and some on top,garnish with coriander leaves and butter. Serve hot. Your masala pav is ready..
