Ingredients of Semolina Halwa
- You need 1 cup of Semolina.
- You need 1/2 cup of Ghee.
- You need 1 cup of Sugar.
- It's 1 and 1/2 cup of Milk.
- It's 1 and 1/2 cup of Water.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Cardamom powder.
- You need of Cashewnut and Raisins as required.
Semolina Halwa instructions
- In a pan heat 1 tsp of ghee and fry cashew first until it golden brown..
- Fry raisins in the remaining ghee until it puffs up for less than 30 seconds..
- In the same pan add ghee and semolina and fry the semolina till it's light golden brown colour and keep aside..
- In the same pan add milk water and sugar and mix well..
- Let it come to boiling stage add roasted semolina little by little and stir well..
- Don't make lumps while adding..
- Reduce the flame to low and let it cook for 10 minutes and it becomes thick..
- Add cardamom powder Cashewnut and Raisins..
- Serve hot immediately..
