Ingredients of Chicken Masala

  1. Prepare 500 gms of Chicken cut into small peices.
  2. You need 3 of onion chopped.
  3. It's 3 of Tomato chopped.
  4. You need 2 tsp of ginger garlic paste.
  5. It's 2 of green chilli slit.
  6. It's 1 spoon of corriender chopped.
  7. It's 1/2 cup of curd.
  8. You need 1 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  9. Prepare 1 1/2 tsp of Coriander powder.
  10. You need 1 tsp of jeera powder.
  11. It's 1 tsp of Turmeric powder.
  12. Prepare 1 tsp of garam masala.
  13. You need 5 of Cloves.
  14. You need 6 of Black pepper.
  15. It's 1 of dalchini.
  16. It's 2 of Small cardamom.
  17. It's 1 of badi elaichi.
  18. Prepare 1 of javetri.
  19. You need 2 of Bey leaf.
  20. You need 4 tbs of oil.
  21. It's 2 tsp of salt.
  22. Prepare of water as per requirement.

Chicken Masala step by step

  1. For marination.
  2. Take chicken put 1/2 tsp haldi powder, 1/2 tsp Jeera Powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp salt, curd, 1 tsp sarson oil. mix it well with the chicken refrigerate for 1 hour..
  3. In a deep kadhai take 2 tb spoon oil. when the oil is properly heated put the sabut garam masala( laung/ Elaichi/ Dalchini /black/ tej patta/ javetri/ pepper and stir for 30 secs. now add the chopped onions. saute it till the onion gets golden brown around - 5 mins. now add the ginger garlic paste and mix it properly and cook for 2 mins..
  4. Now add the Tomatoes, and cook for 5 mins with covered lid..
  5. Now keep the onion masala in a vessel..
  6. Take 2 tb spoon oil let it heat. when it's properly heated put the marinated chicken into it. Take out the chicken from freeze at least 15 mins before cooking..
  7. Now stir fry the chicken till they are almost cooked. may be for 5-7 mins..
  8. Noow add the onion masala into it and mix it well. add 1 cup water water if required. coom for 2-3 mins. now add the remaining powdered masala( garam masala/ Red chilli powder/ Jera powder/ Dhaniya Powder/ salt / haldi and also 1 tsp chopped dhaniya and mix well..
  9. Cook in a low flame for around 10 mins...... till the chicken is properly cooked..
  10. Serve with Steamed rice or paratha.......
