Ingredients of Sabudana Khichdi
- You need 1 cup of Sabudana.
- It's 1 of tomato chopped.
- Prepare 2 of medium size potatoes.
- It's 1 of medium onion chopped.
- You need 2-3 of chopped green chillies.
- You need 6/7 of Curry leaves.
- You need 3 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves.
- You need 1/2 tsp of turmeric.
- Prepare To taste of Salt.
- It's 1/2 tsp of jeera / cumin.
- It's 2 tsp of lemon juice (one lemon).
- It's 2 tbsp of Oil.
- You need 1/2 cup of groundnuts.
- Prepare 1 tsp of sugar.
Sabudana Khichdi instructions
- Wash and soak the Sabudana for 4-5 hours..
- Roast the groundnuts and crush them slightly..
- In a pan add oil, add jeera and onions..
- Saute for 2 minutes and add green chillies, curry leaves and now add the tomatoes..
- Once the tomatoes are soft add chopped boiled potatoes, salt and turmeric powder..
- Mix well. Now add the soaked Sabudana, crushed peanuts and coriander leaves. Also add the lemon juice and together give a nice mix..
- Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes..
- Serve hot..
- For a twist I have added a tsp of sugar before switching off the flame..
