  1. You need 3-4 of leftover chapatis.
  2. Prepare 1 of small onion finely chopped.
  3. You need 2 of green chillies finely chopped.
  4. It's 1 of carrot grated.
  5. You need 1 of small capsicum finely chopped.
  6. It's 1/2 cup of boiled and mashed green peas/matar.
  7. You need 2 tbsp of finely chopped coriander leaves.
  8. It's 1/2 cup of dry roasted and powdered oats.
  9. You need 1 tsp of grated ginger.
  10. You need 1 tsp of amchur powder or lemon juice.
  11. Prepare 1 tsp of ajwain.
  12. It's 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  13. It's 1/2 tsp of jeera powder.
  14. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  15. Prepare 1/2 cup of besan slurry(take 2-3 tsp of besan & add 5-6 tbsp water).
  16. You need of Oil for deep frying.

  1. Break chapatis in small pieces and grind it to a coarse powder and transfer it to a mixing bowl..
  2. Add onion, green chilli, carrot, capsicum, peas, ginger, red chilli powder, jeera powder, salt, coriander, amchur, ajwain and 1 tbsp powdered oats, mix well and knead it like a dough by adding 1-2 tbsp water..
  3. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes..
  4. Grease your palm with a little oil and make small lemon size balls. Dip these balls in besan slury and roll it in roasted powdered oats..
  5. Heat oil in a wok, drop these chapati balls in hot oil and fry by flipping them over couple of times till they become crispy and golden brown from all the sides..
  6. Vegetable chapati balls are ready. Serve them hot with your choice of sauce😊👍.
