Ingredients of Methi masala Puri

  1. Prepare 2 cup of whole wheat flour.
  2. You need 1 cup of Methi / Fenugreek Leaves finely Chopped.
  3. You need 1 tsp of green chilies finely chopped.
  4. You need 1/2 tsp of Ajwain / Carom Seeds.
  5. You need 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Red Chilli Powder.
  7. It's 1/2 tsp of cumin powder.
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp of coriander powder.
  9. You need 1/2 tsp of Salt.
  10. It's 1 table spoon of oil for moyan.
  11. Prepare 2 cup of Water for kneading.
  12. It's as needed of Oil for deep frying.

Methi masala Puri step by step

  1. Mix whole wheat flour, salt, ajwain, methi leaves,coriander,turmeric and red chilli powderall masala in a bowl or food processor..
  2. Add 1table spoon hot oil and water knead to make a soft dough.
Cover and keep the dough aside for 15 minutes..
  3. Heat oil for frying in a kadai / pan.make small lemon size balls from the dough.roll to make a small circle like puri.
  4. Gently lift the puri and drop it in the hot oil fry for 30 seconds in one side in medium heat puri get puffed,flip it over and fry until golden browned both the sides..
  5. Take out on a tissue lined plate for removing excess oil. serve hot with any curry / dry sabji.
