  3. Prepare 1/4 of th cup besan /gram flour.

  6. You need 1 teaspoon of coriander powder.
  7. It's 1/2 teaspoon of saunf powder.
  8. You need 2 pinches of asafoetida /hing.
  9. You need 1 teaspoon of kasuri methi.
  10. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala.
  11. It's 1/2 teaspoon of amchur powder.
  12. You need 1/4 of th teaspoon salt or to taste.
  13. It's 1 cup of oil for frying pooris.

  1. Take wheat flour semolina, gram flour in a big bowl add all the spice powders, oil and very little salt to taste.
  2. Make the dough like that of paranthas, it should not be too hard..
  3. Take a small lemon sized masala dough and make a small ball..
  4. Roll out the ball in a shape of poori with a rolling pin using 2 drops of oil instead of of wheat flour..
  5. When the oil is properly heated drop the poori carefully and fry the poori till it is golden brown turning occasionally from time to time..
  6. Take out the fluffy pooris on an absorbent paper..
  7. Serve hot with shahi paneer curry or any other curry you like and raita.
