Ingredients of Masala poori

  1. You need 100 gms of whole wheat flour.
  2. Prepare 100 gms of all purpose flour.
  3. You need to taste of Salt.
  4. Prepare as needed of Water.
  5. Prepare 1 tbspn of ginger-garlic paste.
  6. It's 1/2 of dry spices like turmeric, red chilli,garam masala, coriander.
  7. It's 1/2 tbspn of carom seeds/ajwain.
  8. It's 1 tbspn of cumin seeds or powder/jeera.
  9. Prepare 1/2 tbspn of white toasted sesame seeds.
  10. Prepare 1/2 of tbpsn toasted fennel seeds.
  11. You need of Canola/ vegetable oil for deep frying.

Masala poori step by step

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and mix well..
  3. Start adding water bit by bit to knead a stiff dough.
  4. Check the seasoning and add more salt if needed.
  5. Let the dough rest covered for 10 minutes.
  6. Make lemon sized balls of the dough.
  7. Grease the roiling board and pin with some oil.
  8. Start rolling the dough balls into flat circular poori shape. Remember not to roll it too thick/thin.
  9. Meanwhile heat enough oil for deep frying in a wok.
  10. When the oil is hot enough for frying, deep fry each pooris till golden brown on each side.
  11. Serve hot with any curries or raitas of your choice.
