Ingredients of Masala poori
- You need 100 gms of whole wheat flour.
- Prepare 100 gms of all purpose flour.
- You need to taste of Salt.
- Prepare as needed of Water.
- Prepare 1 tbspn of ginger-garlic paste.
- It's 1/2 of dry spices like turmeric, red chilli,garam masala, coriander.
- It's 1/2 tbspn of carom seeds/ajwain.
- It's 1 tbspn of cumin seeds or powder/jeera.
- Prepare 1/2 tbspn of white toasted sesame seeds.
- Prepare 1/2 of tbpsn toasted fennel seeds.
- You need of Canola/ vegetable oil for deep frying.
Masala poori step by step
- Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Add ginger garlic paste and mix well..
- Start adding water bit by bit to knead a stiff dough.
- Check the seasoning and add more salt if needed.
- Let the dough rest covered for 10 minutes.
- Make lemon sized balls of the dough.
- Grease the roiling board and pin with some oil.
- Start rolling the dough balls into flat circular poori shape. Remember not to roll it too thick/thin.
- Meanwhile heat enough oil for deep frying in a wok.
- When the oil is hot enough for frying, deep fry each pooris till golden brown on each side.
