It is ok if the dough is a bit sticky but do not make it dry. Adjust water quantity as needed. Let the dough rest for 2-3 hours for best results..

- While making naan, heat a cast iron tava. Let the tava become very hot. Once the tava is hot maintain medium flame. Divide the dough into 10-12 equal sized balls..
- Take a dough ball and roll into a oval slightly thicker than roti.Flip the rolled naan and brush the other side with some water..
- Now place the rolled naan on hot tava with watered side down. Cook for 30-40 seconds till some bubbles appear..
- Now flip the naan and place it on direct flame. If you have a tava with handle you ca directly flip it if you convenient doing so, else use a tong and flip the naan. Cook the naan on flame till chars appear..
- Once the naan is well cooked and slightly browned, remove from flame and brush some butter..
- Serve naan hot with any curry..
