- Prepare 3 cups of fresh Mango Puree.
- Prepare 1.5 cups of or to taste Powdered Sugar.
- It's 1/4 cups of warm Milk.
- It's 5-6 strands of Saffron / Kesar.
- You need 1/2-3/4 tsp of Cardamom Powder.

- Hang up the curd after tying it up tightly in a muslin cloth for 5-6 hours. Keep an empty vessel below to collect the curd residue which drains out. You can use this water to make kadhi, knead the dough for paranthas or bhature etc..
- Mix the saffron strands in warm milk and set aside..
- Remove the dense curd or Chakka as it is called in Marathi into a large mixing bowl..
- Add the powdered sugar and the mango puree gradually and whip the curd with an electric / hand mixer for a good 15-20 minutes until smooth and creamy..
- Add the saffron milk and the cardamom powder and fold in gently..
- Keep the Aamrakhand in a serving bowl and refrigerate for atleast 2 hours..
- Serve chilled!.
