Ingredients of Suji Halwa
- It's 1 cup of semolina suji /.
- It's 1/2 cup of Ghee butter / Clarified.
- You need 1/2 cup of Sugar.
- It's 5 - 6 of cashewnut Kaju/.
- You need 10 - 12 of raisin kishmish /.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Cardamom powder.
- It's 2 - 3 tsps of coconut grated.
- Prepare 3 - 4 cups of water.
Suji Halwa step by step
- Keep kadai on low flame..
- Add ghee in the kadai..
- When ghee is hot, add Suji and Kaju..
- Roast till it becomes brown in color. (Roast Suji on the low flame else it will burn and spoil the taste).
- On the other burner add water and sugar in a pan on medium flame..
- When water and sugar is boiled, add this to the suji mixture slowly while continuously stirring..
- Suji will begin absorbing water and start thickening..
- Now add kishmish and grated coconut to the mixture.
- Continue stirring till Suji absorbs all the water with still some moisture left..
- Add cardamom powder and turn off the flame..
- Garnish with grated coconut and Serve hot..
