- Wash and soak dal and rice separately and also methi dana for 4-5 hour. thn grind dal in smooth paste with little water. and also grind rice coarsely. nw mix both dal paste and rice and give a gentle mix and add 1tsp salt and keep aside for fermentation at least 12 - 14 hour or overnight.
