Ingredients of Moong Daal Modak
- Prepare 1 cup of moong daal (washed and dried).
- It's 1/4 cup of ghee.
- Prepare 1 cup of sugar powder or as per sweetness.
- You need 1/2 cup of mawa.
- You need 1& 1/2 cup of milk.
- Prepare 1 tsp of cardamon powder.
- You need 10-12 of saffron strings..(Soaked in little milk).
- You need as needed of Pista flakes for garnishing.
Moong Daal Modak step by step
- Add moong daal in mixer jar and grind to make powder..
- In a pan dry roast the dal for 4 -5 minutes or till it changes it's colour,on low flame..
- After that add milk..+saffron milk stir quickly add ghee stir well add mawa, cardamom powder and sugar mix and.Stir continuously till well combined.Cook for a minute and switch off the flame..
- Let the mixture cool completely..
- Fill the mixture in modak mould and prepare all modak..
