Ingredients of Bhetki Korma
- Prepare 300 g of Bhetki.
- It's 2 teaspoon of vinegar.
- You need 1 of Lemon.
- It's 1 teaspoon of Jeera powder.
- It's 1 tablespoon of Cornflour.
- It's 1 teaspoon of coriander powder.
- You need 1 teaspoon of chilli powder.
- You need 30 g of poshto/khuskhus.
- Prepare 4-5 pieces of cashews.
- It's 30 g of curd.
- You need 1 of small tomato.
- You need 1 of large sized onion.
- It's 1 tablespoon of Ginger paste.
- You need 5-6 pieces of Garlic cloves.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
- It's 1-2 of bay leaves.
- You need To taste of Salt.
- It's As needed of oil.
Bhetki Korma step by step
- Clean the fish pieces and marinate with half Lemon, salt and vinegar for 30 mins.
- Clean the marinated pieces with water and mix with lemon, salt and mustard oil and keep it aside for 15-20 mins.
- Put some Cornflour powder on the pieces and fry the pieces till golden brown (egg white also can be used with Cornflour).
- Heat some oil in a pan and add Jeera seeds, bay leaves till it crackles.
- Add the cut onions and garlic and saute till golden brown. Add Ginger paste and saute till the masala is cooked.
- Prepare the poshto paste- grind poshto into a dry powder and mix cashew paste, curd, Jeera powder, chilli powder, salt into this.
- Add the above masala into the pan and let it cook for few mins.
- Once masala is well cooked add some water and bring it to boil. Add the fried fish pieces to it and let it boil for 5 mins.
- Add Garam masala at the end and remove. Serve with Rice.
