Ingredients of Nutty Gujiya

  1. You need of Maida / all purpose flour.
  2. Prepare of Suji / semolina.
  3. It's of milk Khoya.
  4. It's of Sugar.
  5. Prepare of Raisins.
  6. You need of dried coconut.
  7. Prepare of Kaju / cashew.
  8. Prepare of Oil.
  9. It's of Salt.
  10. It's of water.

Nutty Gujiya step by step

  1. Now heat milk in a kadhai and evaporate it, when it turns into a thick consistency. After 5 minutes add sugar. The mixture will again turn into thin consistency. Keep on stirring and cooking until the mixture becomes dry and turn off the gas..
  2. After that add thin slice of dried coconut, suji, raisins and kaju and give a mix..
  3. Knead a dough in medium-sized bowl with maida 3 tbsp oil and water (the dough is same as puri dough). Rest the dough for 10min. Now pinch out small sized balls out of the dough and flatten into a thin circle about 2&1/2 inch diameter..
  4. After that take the circle and place it over gujiya mould and put the filling, now close the mould, open the mould and a well shaped gujiya is ready to fry..
  5. Heat the rest of the oil in medium flame. When the oil heats up lower four gujiyas at a time and fry it in low flame till they become golden brown in colour..
  6. Sweet and Crunchy GUJIYAS are to eat..
