Ingredients of Ellay Appam
- Prepare 1 Cup of Moong Green Dhal (boiled).
- You need 1 1/2 Cup of Grated Coconut.
- You need 1 Cup of Black Jaggery.
- Prepare 1 1/2 of Rice Powder.
- It's 1 Tsp of Salt.
- It's 1 Tbsp of Oil.
- You need 3 Cups of Water.
Ellay Appam instructions
- Boil the water,mix salt and oil in the rice powder then slowly slowly pour into the boiling water,stirring constantly,make like Chapati dough.
- In vessel melt jaggery then strain to remove any impurities,mix in boiled moong and coconut.
- After forming small chapati like,fill in the mixture,seal and keep on banana leaf and steam for 30 mins,healthy delicious appam serve with hot tea is.....
