Vegetable spicy dum biryani step by step

  1. Wash and chop all veggies..
  2. Heat oil in the wok,deep fry the onion until they turn into golden brown. Do the same for cashews nut. Keep aside for tissue paper..
  3. Take a bowl,add curd,cream and whisk them. Add turmuric powder, salt, spicy biryani masala,ginger,garlic paste,add the whole spices.Next add all veggies,paneer cubes,oil, fried onions and mix well. Keep aside for 15-20 mins..
  4. Firstly wash the rice properly,take a pan, put half pan of water,rice,dalcinni,cloves and 1/4 tsp salt and boiled it for 10 mins and check it.when the rice are cooked properly then switch off the gas and drain the extra water and keep aside..
  5. In a non-stick pan,put 2-3 tbsp ghee in it. add chopped tomato,transfer the marinaded veggies into the pan and saute it for 5-6 mins,cover the pan with lid,heat until the veggies are cooked properly..
  6. When the veggies are cooked,now put boiled rice on the top..
  7. Seal the vessel with aluminium foil carefully. Place the lid over the vessel.Cook on medium flame for 7-8 min,then turn the flame to simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat. Mix the rice and veggies and mint leaves together. biryani is ready.
