- Prepare 1 cup of Raw Rice.
- Prepare 3/4 cup of Jaggery.
- It's 2 tbsp of Coconut Scrapped.

- 4.Now pour the prepared batter to the cooker and close the lid.Do not place the whistle.Cook on high flame for a minute and then reduce the flame to low and cook it for 10-12 minutes.Switch of the flame and rest until cool..
- 5.Now open the lid and insert a knife to check whether it's done or not.If the knife comes out clean your Kalathappam is ready.
