Ingredients of Dal Bafla
- It's of Bafla.
- You need 1 cup of wheat flour.
- It's 1/4 cup of rawa.
- Prepare 1 tsp of carom seeds.
- It's 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
- It's 1 tsp of Salt.
- You need 2 tsp of ghee (oil).
- It's 1/4 tsp of baking soda.
- It's of Dal.
- You need 1 cup of toor dal.
- You need 1 cup of Yellow moong dal.
- It's 1 of onion chopped.
- You need 1 of tomato chopped.
- Prepare 1 tsp of crushed garlic (optional).
- It's 2 of green chillies.
- It's 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
- It's to taste of Salt.
- You need 1 tsp of mustard seeds.

- You need 6-8 of curry leaves.

- Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1 pinch of Asafoetida.

- Prepare 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds.
Dal Bafla instructions
- Mix the ingredients below bafla section and knead a soft dough and rest for 20-30 mins.
- Take small portion and make balls and flatten. Boil 6 cups of water and drop bafla slowly in water one by one. They will float once cooked then slow the flame and cook for another 5 mins.
- Take aside and let them cool. Cot to four pieces of each and deep fry.
- In a pressure cooker take oil add mustard, cumin, turmeric hing, chilles, onion, tomatoes and saute.
- Add cooked dal, salt and cook for 2 whistles. Pour tadka over dal before or while serving.
- Ready to serve.
