Tricolour Dal kachori instructions

  1. For stuffing mix boiled & mashed potatoes, chopped chilli, grated coconut, garlic,chopped coriander, salt,raisins and lemon juice in a bowl and make equal small balls..
  2. Take all the different flours in a different bowl add salt, oil and knead smooth dough with water as needed and keep aside..
  3. Boil Mogar Moog dal till soft add water & blend it smoothly add salt, turmeric powder, peanuts,green Chilli, ginger, curry leaves and add more water to make it thin..
  4. Heat a big pan add ghee, cinnamon, cloves,mustard, cumin, saunf curry leaves when starts cracking add asafoetida, red chilli powder, dhaniya jeera powder and immediately pour prepared dal and cook till starts bubbling. Make big roti from flour cut with katori of equal size fill the stuffing and give kachori shape of all tri colour pooris and drop one by one in boiling dal and cook till all The kachori are soft,finally add 1- tbsp sugar & lemon juice..
