Ingredients of Corn Idada
- It's 1 cup of parboil rice.
- You need 1/4 cup of urad dal.
- It's 1 cup of boiled corn.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of ginger chilli paste.
- It's Pinch of asafoetida.
- It's As per taste of salt.
- You need 1 tsp of chilli flakes.
- It's 1/4 tsp of baking soda.
Corn Idada step by step
- Soak rice, urad dal separately for 5-6 hours, then separately grind to fine paste then mix, add ¼ tsp salt mix well. Keep for 7-8 hours for fermentation..
- Add boiled corn, ginger chilli paste, salt, pinch of asafoetida to batter, mix well. Now add 1/4 tsp baking soda and 1tsp water on baking soda again mix well..
- Pour 3 ladle batter into greased thali, sprinkle chilli flakes on it and steam for 15 minutes and serve..
