Ingredients of Corn Idada

  1. It's 1 cup of parboil rice.
  2. You need 1/4 cup of urad dal.
  3. It's 1 cup of boiled corn.
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp of ginger chilli paste.
  5. It's Pinch of asafoetida.
  6. It's As per taste of salt.
  7. You need 1 tsp of chilli flakes.
  8. It's 1/4 tsp of baking soda.

Corn Idada step by step

  1. Soak rice, urad dal separately for 5-6 hours, then separately grind to fine paste then mix, add ¼ tsp salt mix well. Keep for 7-8 hours for fermentation..
  2. Add boiled corn, ginger chilli paste, salt, pinch of asafoetida to batter, mix well. Now add 1/4 tsp baking soda and 1tsp water on baking soda again mix well..
  3. Pour 3 ladle batter into greased thali, sprinkle chilli flakes on it and steam for 15 minutes and serve..
