- It's 500 gm of chicken.
- It's 250 gm of curd.
- You need 3 tbsp of oil or 2 pieces of butter.
- It's 1/2 cup of tomato paste.

- It's 2 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste.
- You need 1 tbsp of lemon juice.

- In a bowl take chicken pieces and add 2 cup hot water and 1 tbsp salt and leave for 5 minutes.(This will help to enter the salt into the chicken.).
- Drain the water and clean the chicken pieces with fresh water..
- In the same bowl marinate the chicken pieces with curd, lemon juice,1 tbsp salt, ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp red chilli powder, pepper corn powder and set aside for 15 minutes..
- Heat oil in a pan and add bay leaf, cloves, green cardamom, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick. Add onion and green chillies,pinch salt and saute till onion is translucent..
- Add tomato paste, coriander powder, remaining chilli powder, pinch of salt and cook correctly for 4 minutes on high flame..
- Add marinated chicken,chopped coriander leaves,1/2 cup water and mix well.Cover and cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally..
- Add garam masala, kasuri methi, salt if required and mix well.Cover and cook for 1 more minute..
- Serve hot..
