Ingredients of Besan Ke Ladoo

  1. It's of Chickpea flour (Besan).
  2. Prepare of milk (to Knead a dough).
  3. It's of desi ghee.
  4. You need of sugar.
  5. Prepare of Water (to dissolve sugar).
  6. It's of cardamom powder.
  7. It's of As required Ghee for deep frying.
  8. It's of Few raisins.
  9. Prepare of Few saffron threads.
  10. You need of Cashews for garnishing.

Besan Ke Ladoo step by step

  1. Take a bowl..
  2. Sieve chickpea flour into it..
  3. By adding milk Knead a hard dough..
  4. To Knead hard dough is very important in this recipe..
  5. Now take a small part of dough and roll it into cylinder shape and using fingers make holes into it. (See in picture).
  6. By using this step make rolls from whole dough..
  7. Now take a pan..
  8. Heat ghee into it. (For deep fry the rolls).
  9. Flame should be not too high or not too low, it should be medium..
  10. When ghee turns hot, dip fry all the rolls into it..
  11. Dip fry until it turns into golden Brown..
  12. After that remove it from ghee and let it cool down for few minutes..
  13. Now using hand break all the rolls. (See in picture).
  14. Now take a minute jar and make a fine powder from the broken rolls..
  15. Sieve the powder and add raisins and cardamom powder..
  16. Mix it well..
  17. Keep it aside..
  18. Now take a pan and add sugar into it..
  19. Now add water till sugar deep..
  20. Approximately 2-3 cup water, add more if require..
  21. Now let sugar dissolve..
  22. Flame should be low..
  23. Stir it..
  24. Heat it well and make sugar syrup until 2 threads are formed..
  25. To check whether the threads are formed or not, take little syrup in spoon and using finger you can check it..
  26. Now pour this mixture to fine powder and mix it very well..
  27. Also add saffron threads, you can also add ladoo colour into it. (I have added little for orange colour).
  28. Now first add 1 cup ghee and mix it with your hands..
  29. After that add remaining ghee if require..
  30. Make laddo dough by mixing all the ingredients very well..
  31. Now using hands take a small part of ladoo dough and make round balls from it..
  32. By using same steps make all ladoo..
  33. Let it settle down for 10-20 minutes..
  34. You can store this ladoo for 10 days..
  35. Garnish it with cashews..
  36. Serve it to your guests..
