- Mix the ingredients for the filling well. I use brown sugar, but regular sugar is fine..
- Mix all the ingredients for the batter except water. Add required quantity of water after this to make a thin batter..
- Heat a griddle/tawa and smear a bit of oil/ghee/butter..
- Keep the heat low. Add a ladle of batter and spread into a thin pancake..
- Flip over the pancake in a minute. You will see a few golden specs. Smear oil/ghee/butter.
- Add the filling to the centre in a line..
- Turn up either side over the pancake. Take it off the heat..
