Ingredients of Rice Kheer
- Prepare 1 liter of Milk.
- Prepare 200 grams of Basamati Rice(For kheer).
- It's 1/2 cup of Cashew nuts.
- You need 1/2 cup of Raisins.
- You need 1 liter of Milk maid.
- You need to taste of Sugar.
- Prepare 1 cup of Water.
- You need 1/2 tbsp of Cardamom powder.
- You need 2 tbsp of Desi ghee.
- You need 1 pinch of Salt.
Rice Kheer step by step
- Heat deshi ghee in a pressure cooker. Add dry fruits for frying & after fry take aside..
- Add sugar (1 tsp) & basmati rice (for kheer) to the same deshi ghee. Fry rice till light golden brown & then add water(1 cup)..
- Pressure cook the rice with 7-8 whistles in high flame. After cooking take aside..
- Boil milk in a large wok. After boil add cardamom powder & cooked rice. Then mix it well..
- Cook it for 10 minutes & then add milk made. Cook it for another 5 minutes..
- Add sugar & cook it for another 2 minutes. Then turn off the stove..
- Finally add salt & fried dry fruits. Then ready to serve..
