- You need 3 Cups of Water.
- Prepare 1 tablespoon of Oil.

Plain Semiya Upma / Vermicelli Upma step by step
- Dry roast Semiya until light golden brown and keep a side.
- Heat oil in pan add mustard seeds and let them crackle. add curry leaves, urad dal and green chilli and sauté it for 2 minutes.
- Add roasted Semiya and mix well.
- Add water into it and mix well and let water boiled.
- Once water starts boiling add turmeric powder, salt, sugar and cumin coriander powder and mix well and cover with lid and cook for 3 minutes or until water is absorbed.
