- You need 2 ltr of Milk.
- Prepare 1 cup of Basmati Rice.
- You need 1 cup of Sugar.
- You need 1 tsp of Cardamom powder.
- You need 2 tsp of mix dry fruit chopped into small pieces.
- Prepare Few of saffron strands.
Rice Kheer instructions
- Rinse basmati rice couple of times & then soak in enough water for 15 to 20 mins..
- Meanwhile, take milk in a heavy wide pan or a kadhai. Keep the pan on a low to medium flame, stir it at intervals so that the milk does not stick at the bottom of the pan..
- Let the milk come to a boil. Keep stirring & let it reduce to half..
- Then add raw rice to milk. Let it cook, keep stirring. Once the rice is cooked. Add sugar keep stirring & let the sugar melt..
- Then add saffron, elaichi powder & dry fruits. Let it cook for another 10 mins. Keep stirring..
- Your mouthwatering kheer is ready to be served..
