Ingredients of Rice Kheer
- You need 1 litre of full cream Milk.
- It's 1 cup of Basmati Rice.
- Prepare 1 cup of Sugar.
- It's 1 tsp of Cardamom powder.
- You need 1 tbsp of chopped Cashews.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of chopped Almonds.
- You need 1/2 tbsp of chopped Pistachios.
Rice Kheer step by step
- Wash and soak basmati rice for 15 minutes..
- Strain rice and keep aside..
- Boil milk in a vessel..
- Add washed rice..
- Mix well with spoon..
- Stir occasionally and cook on low flame..
- Add cardamom powder..
- Cook till rice become soft and kheer starts thicken..
- Add sugar and mix well..
- Cook for a minute and switch off the flame..
- Transfer in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped dry fruits..
