Vermicelli /sevai upma instructions
- Heat up a pan add ghee, sevai and roast on medium heat for about 3-4minutes. Until it turns light golden.Add raisins and cashew fry until nice crunchy..
- In the same pan add oil, mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add finely chopped garlic, green chilli, asafoetida, curry leaves, peanut and saute 2-3minutes..
- Now add chopped onion saute 2-3minutes, then add chopped carrot cook for about 4-5minutes..
- Now add turmeric powder mix everything well together. Add roasted sevai and mix it well..
- Now add water, salt mix well. Cover and cook until the water is absorbed..
- Now add chopped coriander leaves mix well. Serve with roasted raisins and cashews..
