Ingredients of Lauki Gosht

  1. It's 1/2 kg of Bottle Ground (Kaddu) ½ kg Beef.
  2. You need 1 of large size Onion, sliced 1 large Tomato.
  3. You need 1 tbsp. of Ginger Garlic paste 4-5 green chilies.
  4. You need 5-6 of tbsps. Cooking Oil (or ghee) Salt to taste.
  5. It's 1 tsp of Red chili powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder.
  6. It's 1/2 tsp of Garam masala 1 ½ tbsp Coriander and Cumin powder.
  7. It's 2-3 glass of Water.

Lauki Gosht instructions

  1. Cut onion, tomato and chop ginger and garlic.
  2. Cut the Bottle Ground into pieces as shown in the picture. Put it in a pot, add water and let it cook for 5-10 minutes. This will reduce the cooking time..
  3. Heat oil or ghee in a pressure cooker; add onions and shallow fry for 4-5 minutes until golden brown..
  4. Stir in the ginger and garlic paste and tomatoes and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes..
  5. Now add salt, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, coriander and cumin powder and ½ glass water..
  6. Cover the lid and cook for 5 min.
  7. Add in the mutton and 1 ½ glass of water. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes on a medium flame..
  8. Open the lid and cook for few more minutes until the meat is completely tender..
  9. Now add the boiled bottle ground, half glass water and green chilies. And cook on a low heat for 5 minutes..
  10. Delicious loki gosht is ready Now garnish with chopped dhaniya..
