Ingredients of Lauki Gosht
- It's 1/2 kg of Bottle Ground (Kaddu) ½ kg Beef.
- You need 1 of large size Onion, sliced 1 large Tomato.
- You need 1 tbsp. of Ginger Garlic paste 4-5 green chilies.
- You need 5-6 of tbsps. Cooking Oil (or ghee) Salt to taste.
- It's 1 tsp of Red chili powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Garam masala 1 ½ tbsp Coriander and Cumin powder.
- It's 2-3 glass of Water.
Lauki Gosht instructions
- Cut onion, tomato and chop ginger and garlic.
- Cut the Bottle Ground into pieces as shown in the picture. Put it in a pot, add water and let it cook for 5-10 minutes. This will reduce the cooking time..
- Heat oil or ghee in a pressure cooker; add onions and shallow fry for 4-5 minutes until golden brown..
- Stir in the ginger and garlic paste and tomatoes and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes..
- Now add salt, chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, coriander and cumin powder and ½ glass water..
- Cover the lid and cook for 5 min.
- Add in the mutton and 1 ½ glass of water. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes on a medium flame..
- Open the lid and cook for few more minutes until the meat is completely tender..
- Now add the boiled bottle ground, half glass water and green chilies. And cook on a low heat for 5 minutes..
- Delicious loki gosht is ready Now garnish with chopped dhaniya..
