  1. You need 1/2 cup of Rice Flour.
  2. You need 1/4 cup of Oats powder.
  3. You need 1/4 cup of Wheat flour.
  4. You need 1/8 cup of Jowar flour.
  5. It's 2 tbsp of chana dal soaked.
  6. It's 1 cup of Curd (little sour better).
  7. It's 1/4 tsp of Jeera.
  8. It's 1/4 Tsp of baking soda.
  9. It's 2 of Onions chopped.
  10. It's to taste of Salt.
  11. You need pinch of sugar.
  12. You need as needed of Coriander a small quantity.
  13. It's 1 of Green chillies optional.

  1. Mix all the flours with little water..now add salt,baking soda curd,rest a while for 5-10 minutes..
  2. Again mix well the batter and then add onions,jeera,green chillies and soaked chana dal,you can mix veggies also like carrot,cabbage and spinach to the increase nutrient value..here in pic above me only added onions. Adjust the pouring consistency but a little thick..
  3. Finally heat a Appam Patra which you get easily in market as shown in pic above add little oil of your choice very less oil it requires. And pour a spoonful batter..Flip both sides till they are brown and crispy.Your Appams are ready to relish...hot or cold they are tasty..always..
