Chicken Biryani step by step
- Clean the chicken, marinate and refrigerate for 1 hr..
- Take Basmati Rice wash it and soak for 30 mins..
- Take a pressure cooker add Ghee or Butter and Oil. Add the ingredients under Seasoning and saute till they turn golden brown..
- Add Onions and Saute till they become caramelized..
- Add marinated chicken and saute for 4 min..
- Close the lid and cook till 1 whistle or 2..
- Once the pressure is released, add salt to taste, 3 1/2 cups of water Basmati rice and mix well. Note: Water measurement for basmati rice is 1 3/4 cup of water for 1 cup of Rice or if we still need dry can use 1 1/2 of water..
