- It's 3/4 cup of pre boiled rice.

- Wash the rice for 3-4 times and soak it for 4-5 hours..
- Wash the dals and soak it for 4-5 hours..
- Grind rice with little amount of oil. It should not be too watery or too thick..
- Same way grind the dals and mix rice and dal and keep it in a large vessel and cover. Keep it for at least 8 hours till it's well fermented. Also add salt to it..
- While grinding add salt..
- After it is fermented add chopped onions and grated carrots. Add salt if required..
- Take a tawa. Add two spatula of the batter. Spread it and sprinkle 1tsp of oil. Cover it for a minute and then flip it to the other side..
- Cook till it's golden in colour. Cook both the sides well..
- Now for chutney. Grate the coconut..
- Fry peanuts and chana dal separately..
- Take a mixer grinder and add peanuts, chanadal and grated coconut. Add little water and grind it to smooth paste..
- Also add salt as per taste..
- Add curd to it. And season it with mustard seeds, dry red chilli and curry leaves..
