- It's 1 cup of sugar.

- Collect all the ingredients..
- Heat ghee in a kadai. Add in nuts and raisins and fry till golden. Drain and set aside..
- In the same pan add in wheat flour and roast on low flame for 5 to 6 mins till the raw smell leaves away..
- When the mixture will start to turn golden and aromatic slowly after 20 minutes the mixture will turn dark golden brown. Keep aside..
- Now in a sauce pan take sugar and water..
- Stir well dissolving sugar and boil for 2 minutes. No need to get thread consistency sugar syrup..
- Pour the hot boiling sugar syrup over wheat mixture stirring continuously..
- Be careful as the mixture will splutter. Keep starring continuously till the wheat flour will absorb all the water..
- Now add cardamon powder and mix well..
- After 5 minutes halwa leaves kadai and non sticky. And add fried nuts..
- Finally serve halwa hot or warm. Garnish with nuts..
